Steve Somers has an "Amazing Outreach". He is the founder of Amazing Productions, a company that produces biblically based educational and inspirational presentations designed to train, motivate and inspire young and old alike.

So how can God use someone who pulls coins from the air, creates pictures in your mind, and dramatically inspires your heart. Well, He does and in some remarkable ways. Steve Somers combines his unique blend of "edutainment" (education + entertainment) to creatively and effectively communicate biblical messages.

ORDAINED MINISTER

An ordained minister with the Evangelical Church Alliance, Steve has served the church in a variety positions including: youth pastor, associate minister, minister of education and worship, college professor and evangelist.

A graduate of Asbury College and Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, Steve has been in education most of his life.  As a college professor (for more than 18 years), Steve combines his creative approach to teaching in the college classroom. His doctoral studies and certification in curriculum development served to provide the basis for his educationally sound presentations.

MORE THAN 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Steve's appearances have taken him throughout the United States presenting the gospel message to young and old alike. During the past thirty years, he has performed more than 2500 programs, ministering and speaking to hundreds of people every month.

UPWARD AWARD NIGHTS

Steve has geared his ministry specifically to unchurched children and their families. One way he does this is by cooperating with churches involved in Upward (basketball, football, soccer, cheerleading, etc.). Steve serves as special speaker for Awards Night celebrations.  His original Flying High program captivates family audiences with amazing tricks and illusions and then clearly and simply presents the Gospel to both children and adults.

READING ASSEMBLY PROGRAMS

Steve's passion for books and learning led to the formation of Amazing Teacher.  In this outreach, Steve delivers "educationally significant" assembly programs that motivate children to read.  Since reading is the foundation of a great education, Steve believes every program should inspire kids to read books. In this way, he cooperates with elementary schools (public and private), libraries and other institutions who are dedicated to providing an excellent education to children. Using tricks, illusions, drama, puppetry, stories, and music Steve makes reading and learning fun wherever he goes!


Steve is more than a competent and qualified educator.
